Endoscopy Practitioner
The London Independent Hospital
30 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to 39000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for anEndoscopyPractitioner to join their team of staff in theEndoscopydepartment.
This is a Part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. The hours for this role may increase to 37.5 hours or above depending on workload.
Duties of this role include:
- Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
- Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy respect and dignity.
- Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill and expertise.
- Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
- Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
- Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Basic and advanced Competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
- Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
- Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission GRS JAG HTM 01 -06).
- ILS.
