JOB DESCRIPTION:
TheDoswell School of Aeronautical Sciences at Texas Womans Universityinvites applications for a Professor of Aeronautical Sciences with an emphasis in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). We seek an accomplished scholar with an active research program that aligns with the mission of the FAA Center of Excellence for UAS (ASSURE)a national coalition dedicated to advancing the safe integration of UAS into the U.S. National Airspace System which includes TWU as the newest member.
This faculty member will play a key role in advancing AAM and UAS research mentoring students and collaborating with industry and government partners to address critical challenges in UAS safety operations policy and technology development. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of research funding publications and interdisciplinary collaboration.
