Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines infrastructure automation and cloud-based environments using AWS Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be passionate about operational excellence reliability and automation in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
- Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Monitor and improve system reliability scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with development QA and security teams to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality software.
- Implement and manage logging monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Datadog or Cloud-native tools.
- Ensure security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments including secrets management identity management and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across development staging and production environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS GCP or Azure.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash Python or similar languages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of networking security and system administration.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g. Istio Linkerd).
- Background in observability tools and practices.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
