Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking afull-timeBachelors Level Mental Health Professional to join our teamat PotosiCorrectional Center located in Mineral PointMissouri.
TheBachelors Level Mental Health Professionalprovides basic mental health treatment in the form of psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds and assists with discharge planning/re-entry and serves in other supportive roles as requested to the mental health staff under the supervision of licensed mental health staff in collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team in a correctional setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in the social sciences (i.e. psychology social work counseling or related field) from an accredited educational institution required
- Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred
- Experience in a correctional environment preferred
- Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
- Must show current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
