Job Description
- We are hiring immediately for an ACCOUNTANT ASSOCIATE position.
- Location: 12670 Southwest Hall Blvd Bldg 3 Tigard OR 97223.Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm.
- Requirement: Previous payroll knowledge is required.
- Pay Rate: $31.25per hour.

Job Summary
Summary:
Responsible for overseeing administrative and accounting duties within Canteen Vending operations. This role also supervises office staff in the absence of the District Account Manager and directly supervises employees in Accounting. Responsibilities are carried out in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws including training and directing employees and addressing complaints by referring them to management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform computer entry and 10-key usage calculate and pay account commissions and file documentation.
- Process payroll and submit HR forms for employees.
- Manage vendor payables including preparing and submitting DPRs and M&Es.
- Maintain client accounts prepare accounts receivable invoices and conduct collection calls for delinquent accounts.
- Handle district petty cash.
- Reconcile cash received with cash recorded by route drivers; reconcile inventories.
- Fulfill administrative responsibilities related to the union and its members.
- Track beverages and manage general merchandise orders.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment and perform duties safely.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
An Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ability to compute figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume is necessary. Familiarity with basic hardware and software in a Windows environment and proficiency with a 10-key calculator are also required.
