YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH TEAM LEADER JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE POSITION SUMMARY: Jewish Family Service of Cincinnati is seeking a Team Leader to join our growing Youth Mental Health team. This leadership role is central to our mission of delivering high-quality accessible counseling and care coordination services for youth teens and young adults ages 530. The Youth Mental Health team plays a vital role in this vision offering prevention-oriented strengths-based mental health care to young people navigating a critical stage of development. The Team Leader provides supervision coordination and day-to-day support to a small dedicated team of clinicians ensuring the effective delivery of counseling and consultation close collaboration with the Director of Youth Mental Health Services the Team Leader helps guide clinical practice maintain program quality and ensure staff have the tools and resources needed to thrive. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: - Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with clients families community partners and Youth Mental Health team members.
- Model and uphold high standards of customer service promoting a culture of compassion responsiveness and respect.
- Provide clinical guidance on referrals intakes and service recommendations in alignment with program goals and best practices.
- Maintain a clinical caseload delivering counseling consultation and care coordination to youth teens young adults and their families in office and community settings.
- Collaborate with JFS leadership internal programs and team members to ensure integrated effective service delivery. Communicate emerging needs and improvement opportunities to the Director.
- Support team members clinical development through mentorship consultation and feedback.
- Ensure timely accurate documentation in compliance with agency regulatory and insurance requirements.
- Use electronic health records and related systems efficiently and in accordance with agency standards.
- Maintain consistent communication with staff and partners to support coordinated care.
- Participate in team meetings agency events trainings and approved professional development activities.
- Meet role-specific productivity and performance benchmarks.
- Represent the Youth Mental Health team in internal and external communications promoting awareness of services.
- Lead team meetings as assigned.
- Perform other duties as needed to support client care and team success.
