JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Schreyer Honors College at Penn State is seeking a motivated creative undergraduate student to assist with content planning creation and posting for the colleges social media platforms (Instagram and LinkedIn). This position will also assist with analytics gathering and creating reports.
The primary job duties include:
Capture and edit candid photos of students faculty staff and visitors for IG/LinkedIn accounts.
Capture and edit short-form videos and produce IG Reels content.
Write captions and design graphics as needed for posts.
Assist with planning and developing ideas for new and engaging content.
Collect data from both platforms monthly and assist with analyzing and reporting data.
Coordinate student- and alumni-generated content such as day-in-the-life IG stories.
The position will require some availability during regular office hours as well as attendance at events which may fall on evenings and weekends.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and must enjoy interacting with students faculty and staff. Candidate must have an interest or experience with multimedia content. Preferred qualifications include a working knowledge of social media channels and experience with Adobe software.
