  • Fixed Term for 1 year until 31 August 2026

Your role:

St Marys Church of England Academy are currently calling for an experienced or newly qualified Key Stage 2 class teacher to come forward and be a part of our exciting school journey. We have a full-time fixed-term role available ready to begin in September 2025 with a potential to be made permanent

We are looking to appoint a skilled passionate and ambitious candidate who demonstrates consistently high standards of teaching and learning and is committed to ensuring the highest standards of achievement for all our pupils.

You will be:

You will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • to work well in a team
  • to line manage teaching assistants and to involve them in the planning and assessment of pupils learning
  • to select teaching materials appropriately and makes good use of resources
  • use accommodation to create an effective and stimulating learning environment
  • to secures a good standard of behaviour in the classroom by establishing appropriate rules and high expectations of behaviour within the context of the Academys behaviour policy
  • to be a confident ICT user
  • to know how to present reports and information to parents and carers
  • to ensure that the learning environment is safe and that risks are adequately assessed
  • knowledge of current National Curriculum.
