Roland Michener Secondary Schoolis located in the town ofSlave Lake in northern Alberta in the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River. It is located 257 km north of Edmonton on the southeast shore of Lesser Slave Lake at the junction of Highway 2 and Highway 88.
Roland Michener Secondary Schoolis a Grade 7 to 12 school with an enrollment of approximately 620 students and 60 staff. Roland Michener Secondary School is seeking a cook to prepare lunch for students in accordance with theAlberta Nutritional Guidelines for Children and Youth. This position involves:
- menu planning
- preparation cooking and handling of food
- purchasing supplies
- working with students
The successful candidate for this position must:
- enjoy working with students and the public
- have a current Food Safety Certificate
- have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
The following would be assets to your application:
- Standard First Aid
- Previous experience working in a concession/catering capacity
- Culinary arts education/training or work experience
Requirements:

- Successful candidates must produce anORIGINAL acceptable recent (less than six months old) Criminal Record Check whichmust include aVulnerable Sector Check.
