Early Childhood Educator - Diploma Qualified
Permanent Full-time role
Band 4 - Starting from $70961.52 (hourly rate $38.98) super RDO (applicable for full-time)

Yarra City Council Childrens Services are seeking dedicated educators for our Long Day Care programs in Collingwood.
To find out more about our Long Day Care Centres Occasional Care programs and Kindergartens visit us on Childhood Educators employed at Yarra enjoy the generous employment conditions of the Yarra City Council Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 including:

Yarra is a child safe organisation and as such you will understand the important role that educators play in protecting and advocating for childrens wellbeing.
To be successful in this role the following is required:
- Minimum qualification of Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Up to date First Aid CPR EpiPen and Asthma Management qualifications
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Experience using Xplor (or similar online education platform) (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate responsive routines and programs guided by the approved learning frameworks
- Current mandatory reporting training
- Team focused approach
