Job Description

The Workforce Development Coordinator creates manages and executes a variety of workforce development programs designed to address healthcare workforce retention and employee engagement. Responsibilities include promoting workforce pipeline development (internships) internal career pathways developing employee training workforce retention initiatives (mentoring) procurement of related grant funding and education-related reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or other related field required.
  • Masters degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience as a recruiter or workforce/talent development professional required.
  • Adult Education experience preferred. Clinical or healthcare background preferred.

Responsibilities of the Workforce Development Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • Plans implements and evaluates education and professional development programs across hospital to improve quality standards and outcomes as well as staff performance expectations. This includes conducting needs assessments developing training competency assessment and reporting program outcomes and attendance.
  • Manages activities and tools around workforce development including employee training mentorship programs and unpaid internship programs.
  • Serves as an educational consultant for leadership and staff in program development workforce development and professional development; and other assigned work.
  • Coordinates educational rotations for undergraduate and graduate students in ancillary and non-clinical fields.
  • Conducts and analyzes formal and informal learning needs with leadership and staff. Develops and implements annual competency and education plan(s).
  • Utilizes methods measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
  • Serves as resource for ancillary competency assessment and validation design.
  • Serves in teaching role for various organizational courses as needed. Utilizes adult learning principles and a variety of formats to meet needs.

$69763 - $103771
