Please take note of the following qualifications and requirements:
Minimum Education
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Graduated from an approved EMT Paramedic program
Certifications
- North Carolina Certified Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA upon hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 90 days of hire is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) obtained within 90 days of hire is preferred.
- Good communication skills computer skills and the ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care
Minimum Work Experience
- A minimum of two years of pre-hospital paramedic experience is preferred
