Westwood Professional Services Inc.is seeking a Renewables Project Manager to join our team in our Lake Mary FL office. The Project Manager will join a highly experienced and dynamic team leading our Renewables Markets (Wind Solar Storage EV) into an exciting sustainable energy future.Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope schedule and budget while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Take full accountability for multiple wind solar and/or storage projects.
- Manage stakeholder relationships both internal and external.
- Coordinate and manage project teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement project plans monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
- Manage uncertainty and change such as scope creep and change orders.
- Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree in a technical business or project management related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role
- Professional licensure in a technical field CAPM or related certification
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Experience managing complex and/or multi-service projects.
- Experience with program management.
- Advanced knowledge of project financial management.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
