Job Description
Pay Range: $17.00/hour - $19.00/hour
Knudtsen Foothills Lincoln Mazda is seeking a Sales Lot Attendant to join the Knudtsen family. Knudtsen is a family-owned and operated company that provides the Spokane and Post Falls communities with new and used cars full-service body shops and service departments as well as genuine Mazda and Lincoln Parts. Summary of Position
A Lot Attendantis responsible forcreating a satisfactory buying experience for our customers bymaintainingaccessibility and appearance of the dealership lot and vehicles. You would be an integral part of a team the sales process and creating lifelong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Prepare all vehicles for sale auction or trade according to proper policy and procedure.
Prepare all vehicles for delivery according to proper policy and procedure and execute a pre-delivery inspection.
Prepare all vehicles received from auction trade orpurchaseaccording to proper policy and procedure.
Keeps interior and exterior of vehicles clean.
Maintains a clean and organized lot including moving vehicles to maximize space and keep the lot in order.
Checks vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns. Also recognizes general dealership and lot repairs that may need to be escalated to a manager.
Keep vehicles fueled.
Ensures thatforms and stickers have been completed and are properly displayed or removed as necessary.
Catalog and store keys.
Operate the carwash.
Confirms that all vehicles gates and external building doors are locked and that all supplies and tools are put away for the night.
Performs necessary seasonal tasks such as: pulling weeds blowing leaves plowing snow and brushing off cars etc.
Assistsinmaintainingcleanliness of building interior including emptying trash bins cleaning restrooms stocking paper products and cleaning surfaces.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Able to lift 50-60 pounds stand and walk on hard surfaces for most of shift in all weather.Must be able to stoop bend and twist on a daily basis.
Able to safelyoperatea wide variety of cars trucks SUVs and vans including both automatic and manual transmissions.
Have a valid drivers license.
Pass a motor vehicle report andpossessa safe driving record.
Pass a criminal background check.
Required pre-employment drug test (note: we do not test for marijuana during pre-employment testing).
Also subject to random drug testing reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing and post-accident testingat the companys request.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Lot Attendant physical requirements include:
Standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching crawling and climbing all day
Employee is regularly required to talk and hear
The employee must be able to lift or move items at least 50 pounds
Vision abilities required: close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Team Members regularly works 40 hours per week. While performing the duties of this job the Team Member will typically be outside on the Sales Lot. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions outside weather conditions and combustibles. Fast paced working environment at times but typically the environment is quiet and calm. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderately loud. If walking through the service areas can be exposed to loud noises and dangerous work environments.
