Job Description

The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Principal at Maie Ellis Elementary School a Dual Immersion site (Bilingual Spanish preferred). FUESD is looking for exceptional instructional leaders who can contribute to our dynamic and forward-thinking leadership team. Candidates will be expected to meet the following criteria:

  • A strong background in effective instructional practice
  • Bilingual SpanishPrefered
  • BCLAD Prefered
  • Three years of classroom teaching experience
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students families and staff
  • A personal style that reflects high expectations attention to detail and the ability to inspire others to be their best

The2025-2026 Assistant Principal recruitment is open to internal and external candidates.

DETAILS FOR THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL RECRUITMENT:

  • REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Possess a California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility for Administrative Services Credential; letter of introduction; resume; three (3) letters of recommendation (signed/dated within the last year and at least one from a direct supervisor); and transcripts reflecting degree(s)/major(s) including postgraduate coursework.
  • REQUIRED CREDENTIAL: Current valid California Administrative Services Credential and a teaching credential. Out-of-state applicants must have a corresponding license and obtain the appropriate California Credential(s).
  • REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (documents must be uploaded in PDF format):
