The incumbent will handle mail processing incoming and outgoing assist with communicating with medical offices scanning and uploading medical records. The job requires basic knowledge of medical terminology strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.
POSITION WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION
1. Reports to Reimbursement Supervisor
2. Participates in:
Cross-functional department meetings
Project meetings
Internal/External Audits and Investigations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing of outgoing patient introduction letters.
Processing of incoming and outgoing mail via USPS.
Uploading of patient medical records in billing system
Contact medical offices to obtain additional medical records
Ensure billing practices adhere to industry regulations including HIPAA and other legal requirements.
Update and maintain medical records in SalesForce.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned such as overflow work including word processing data entry and internet research tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
HS diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE
2years related experience required.
1 year Experience in customer service
