Job Description
Womans Hospital is seeking a PACU/Bariatric Surgery Program Managerto oversee the strategic and daily operations of our department while ensuring the highest quality of patient care. This manager will work collaboratively with Procedural Services Leaders Ancillary Leaders and Operations Leadership to set departmental strategies for financial and clinical performance. The Manager will oversee the Mainand Same-Day Surgery PACU units as well as the Bariatric Surgery Program.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in nursing and current licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
- Certification in area of practice preferred
- Four years of experience as a registered nurse primarily in Perioperative Services
- Three years of progressively responsible leadership experience in nursing
- Strong leadership & decision-making abilities
- Ability to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning
Responsibilities of the PACU/Bariatric Surgery Nurse Manager:
- Lead & Inspire: Guide mentor and support a team of skilled nurses and allied health professionals
- Drive Quality Care: Implement best practices quality initiatives and performance improvement strategies
- Foster Collaboration: Work closely with physicians hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to state federal and regulatory standards
- Champion Education: Support professional development evidence-based practice and continued learning

Full-time; Exempt
Pay
$76500 - $114000 based on experience
