TO: All Kettering City School District locations and outside locations as designated by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Capital.
POSITION: MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Effective2025-26 School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING MIDDLE SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION:This is a 10-1/2 month contract 220 days 20 days before the school year and 17 days after. Administrative experience preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List:
- Assists in the direction and supervision of all building personnel.
- Assists the Principal as a building instructional leader.
- Assists with major student discipline issues.
- Supervises building operations.
- Develops building policies.
- Reviews all grading procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS Partial List:
1. Valid elementary or middle school Ohio Principals License.
- Preference given to candidates holding an Intervention Specialist license.
- Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
SALARY: According to the approvedAdministratorSalary Schedule.
