Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Newsletter Writer to join our team and help drive engagement with our audience through compelling informative and visually appealing newsletters. The ideal candidate will have a strong writing background excellent attention to detail and the ability to transform complex topics into easy-to-read engaging content. This role involves writing content for daily newsletters ensuring they align with our brand voice marketing objectives and audience interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Write clear engaging and original content for newsletters including recaps on news articles recaps on events and unique insights on current events
Audience Research: Understand the target audience and create content that is relevant interesting and tailored to their preferences and needs.
Content Planning: Assist in developing the content calendar proposing newsletter themes topics and features that will drive engagement and interest.
Collaboration: Work closely with newsletter editor to deliver against priorities for newsletters.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5 years of experience as a business writer or journalist preferably with a focus on email marketing or newsletters.
Education: Bachelors degree in business or journalism.
Writing Skills: Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey messages and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Creativity: Ability to craft compelling and engaging stories while adhering to the companys brand voice.
Education: Bachelors degree in English Communications Marketing Journalism or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
