CHEMIST TECHNICIAN
The Chemist Technician is responsible for shipping 24-hour and production sample analysis assistance with chemical prep housekeeping and any other duties as directed by the laboratory supervisor. This is a salaried non-exempt position working a 12hr rotating shift schedule.

Where will you work: Onsite Carlsbad New Mexico (PO Box 71 - 1361 Potash Mines Road - Carlsbad NM 88220)
What youll do
- Chemical analysis of shipping or 24-hour samples.
- Chemical analysis of production samples.
- Chemical preparation and maintaining laboratory supplies.
- Housekeeping.
What youll need:
- High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelors in science is preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills and have a fundamental knowledge of the metric system.
- Must also possess the ability to solve problems and be capable of working without direct supervision.
- Working knowledge of MS Word Excel and Outlook.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Must be able to communicate needs and issues as well as results to other techs and to lab supervisor.
- Proficiency in wet chemistry ICP and XRD analysis of all production and shipping samples to assist with safety and housekeeping.
