Title: Customer Quality Engineer
Job Description:
Ensure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard including addressing gaps in process procedures and facilitating the development of appropriate metrics for Quality Processes. Lead investigations in response to Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) from customers and investigate large-scale manufacturing issues tied to customer complaints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and develop and implement corrective actions. Lead and participate in internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Lead and perform First Article and Receiving Inspections. Participate in customer and regulatory audits. Analyze customer feedback to uncover systematic problems and trends. Investigate returned materials from customer complaints and report findings to Quality Manager.
10% telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering plus 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or substantially similar position.
Special Skills Required:
Required experience must include all of the following: ensuring compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard in a manufacturing environment; responding to customers regarding quality issues; leading process improvements including analysis of customer feedback conducting root cause investigations and development of corrective actions; and performing First Article Inspections.
Salary: $98405 per year Work Hours:9 AM to 6 PM
