Job Description

Job Summary

The Data Coordinator is the subject matter expert for all data elements in the agency management system and other applicable operational systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

Enters new business renewals and Client/Plan terminations in the agency management system.

Maintains accurate and organized account files. Including shared file structure; updates HUB Employee Benefits computer systems and automated agency management systems; ensures the accuracy of data.

Presents a knowledgeable professional and helpful image on behalf of the company.

Provides timely resolution of issues.

Prepares reports for management as required.

Assists in the audit of third party Value Adds

Facilitate Inter-Departmental Transfer. i.e. CAST & CBU

Enters manages and maintains producer splits in agency management system.

Prepares and manages HUB data entry compliance report out of agency management system.

Keeps track of New and Lost business

Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Helps coordinate carrier office visits

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelors degree preferred

Active Life & Health insurance license or must obtain within 120 days of employment

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Ability to respond to customer needs solicit customer feedback to improve service and handle difficult or emotional customer situations promptly and accurately.

Confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.

Ability to efficiently gather pertinent information and facts analyze and solve problems timely and thoroughly.

Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and responsibilities to complete assignments on time and with optimal accuracy.

Computer Skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite advanced skills in Excel; Project Management software and Database software preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

This position primarily involves remaining in a stationary position for most of the workday.

The person in this position frequently communicates with colleagues in person and on the telephone; Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as acalculator copy machine and computer printer.

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office toaccess file cabinets office machinery etc.

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: High school or equivalent
