HII Mission Technologies is looking for an Agile Systems Architect with advanced expertise in JIRA and Confluence to support our DOD Component Command HQ. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience administering agile collaboration tools holds a BA in a relevant field and possesses a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly. In this role you will drive workflow optimization secure system configurations and deliver technical support in a mission-critical environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- System Administration: Configure maintain and refine agile platformsprimarily JIRA and Confluenceto ensure reliability and peak performance.
- Process Optimization: Design and customize agile workflows dashboards and reports to meet evolving operational requirements.
- Security & Compliance: Manage access controls permissions integrations and security measures in accordance with DOD standards.
- Collaboration & Support: Provide hands-on technical support troubleshoot issues and offer training to users ensuring teams fully leverage the agile tools.
- Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed system documentation process guidelines and performance reports to guide continuous improvement efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Experience:
2 years of hands-on experience administering agile tools with in-depth expertise in JIRA and Confluence.
Education:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration).
Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance REQUIRED; with CI Poly preferred.
Certifications:
Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator (or equivalent).
Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator or demonstrable Confluence expertise.
Certifications such as IAT Level II are a plus in DoD environments although they do not substitute for Atlassian-specific credentials.
Skills & Knowledge:
Expertise in agile methodologies digital collaboration and process automation.
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with DOD compliance and security requirements.

Preferred Requirements
Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
Advanced Certifications:
Additional credentials in Agile or project management (e.g. Certified Scrum Master PMI-ACP) and advanced Atlassian certifications.
Defense Environment Experience:
Prior experience operating within DOD or other mission-critical environments.
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrated ability to integrate and automate systems with experience in custom scripting and managing multi-tool ecosystems.
Interpersonal & Leadership Skills:
Proven capacity to mentor teams communicate complex technical concepts and lead process improvements in fast-paced settings.
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office industrial shipboard or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
