Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions and support overall business operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial reporting cash management costing and accounting systems along with a strong understanding of business processes and cross-functional operations.
This role requires a proactive and polished accounting professional who can lead initiatives improve internal procedures and contribute to the continued growth of a fast-paced family-owned company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage daily cash flow and bank activity reporting
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Handle Positive Pay submissions across multiple banks
- Develop standard costing and cost accounting protocols
- Support financial planning and analytics with ad hoc reports for leadership
- Assist in process development and business operations improvements
- Be a resource and mentor within the organization
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of accounting and business operations experience
- Strong background in commercial or industrial environments
- Solid understanding of financial principles costing and reporting
- Excellent organizational communication and analytical skills
- Honest reliable and committed to professional growth
