Job Description

This position requires a dynamic individual to teach Middle School Science. The ideal candidate will hold licensure in Middle School Science from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and will possess a strong content background solid classroom management skills and excellent organizational skills. Previous teaching experience and familiarity with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks are and Responsibilities:Plan organize and implement high-quality science instruction aligned with state standards and district and maintain a classroom environment that supports active learning and student and deliver lessons using varied instructional strategies including demonstration hands-on experiments project-based learning and digital science technology engineering and math (STEM) content to promote interdisciplinary students academic progress and social development; maintain accurate and timely records and generate progress accommodations and modifications to support the success of all learners including those with special education needs and English professional obligations including attendance supervision duties communication with families and participation in staff department and team in meaningful ongoing professional development aligned with school and district other duties as assigned by the school principal Director of Curriculum and/or the Superintendent of Schools.
