POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist I who is fluent in both Spanish and English to join our growing Talent team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about recruitment and eager to support the full cycle hiring process. You will play a key role in identifying attracting and onboarding top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience across diverse communities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings resume screening interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
  • Support bilingual recruitment efforts by sourcing and communicating with Spanish-speaking candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely and professional communication.
  • Participate in job fairs community outreach and other talent acquisition events.
  • Assist with onboarding processes and new hire documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in recruitment HR or a related field.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English(written and verbal) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • High level of professionalism confidentiality and attention to detail.

  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.

Subject to the program and location of the position

  • Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results.
  • Must be willing to submit to drug screening. Job offers are contingent on drug screening results. (Does not apply in Canada)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

At MCI compensation for both hourly and salaried employees is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the job location a candidates education training experience expected quality and quantity of work required travel (if applicable) and external market considerations. Internal value analysis including seniority merit systems and pay alignment also contributes to fair and equitable pay decisions.

Compensation includes hourly wages or annual salaries as part of MCIs comprehensive total rewards package. Employees may also be eligible for additional incentives such as performance-based bonuses program-specific awards and recognition for exceptional work.
