Job Description

Danvers Public Schools is currently recruiting for daily substitutes for the 2024/2025 school year. As a daily substitute you will be working on a per diem as-needed basis. Subbing is approximately 6.5 hours per day. The school start and end times vary by school. Role & Responsibilities:
  • Builds positive caring relationships to ensure all students feel valued respected equitably supported and a sense of belonging in the classroom community.
  • Perform related duties in the absence of the regular classroom teacher to provide continuity in the day-to-day responsibilities by implementing the teachers prepared lesson plans.
  • Provide instructions according to lesson plans as prepared by the classroom teacher or create lesson plans in absence of a prepared lesson.
  • Maintain compliance with all District policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the Teacher/Principal
