Interested Learn more at manufacturing facility in Somerset NJ is seeking a Manufacturing Manufacturing Technician assembles tests and troubleshoots sub-systemsand test equipment during theAssembly andTest processes. As a technician you will work closely with Engineering to resolve complex issues.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble sub systems and some sub-components
- Test sub-systems and subcomponents
- Troubleshoot testing activity discrepancies
- Work with Engineering and R&D groups as required to resolve diverse and complex issues found during test
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Assembly Test Technicians to resolve and close issues
- Manage all manufacturing test data associated with Acceptance testing
- Analyze discrepancy data for each system to provide corrective action and target zero customer source inspection findings
- Compile reports for each system during Final Test and assure product is prepared for shipment to customers
- Identify and provide improvements to test methods for existing products and collaborate with Engineering to develop methodologies for new products/components
Qualifications:
Must have at least a HS Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting complex systems. An Associates degree in technical engineering or a technical field service background is preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of hardware software and control systems Analog / D-Net is preferred
- Experience with high vacuum semiconductor hardware/practices and manufacturing is preferred
- ERP system experience such as SAP Oracle Infor etc. for data and document inquiry is required. SAP experience is preferred.
- Experience and training on high-voltage and high-power systems
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform basic data analysis
- Skills in identifying and resolving recurring problems
- Interpersonal skills to interface with assembly technicians engineering management customers sales and marketing
- Ability to work overtime
- Some travel less than 5% may be required
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
The expected salary range for this position is$45154.00$57195.70 plus a bonus opportunity.
