WASTEWATER OPERATOR
NIGHTS 11PM - 7AM SUN - THUR
Hourly Rate $30/HR. $3.00 Shift Premium
Are you a driven professional with a passion for environmental sustainability and operational excellence Were looking for a dedicated Wastewater Operator to join our team and help manage our treatment systems with precision and care.
Your Role:
As a Wastewater Operator youll play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment facilities. Heres what youll be doing:
- Complying with all safety and environmental regulations to protect our communities and environment
- Collecting preparing and performing analytical laboratory testing on daily samples
- Adjusting treatment processes chemical feed rates and equipment based on lab analysis system trends and SOPs
- Maintaining meticulous records performing data entry and delivering standardized end-of-shift reports
- Monitoring and managing system performance to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
- Following technical operating procedures while contributing to operational improvements
- Keeping all treatment facilities and equipment in pristine condition
- Continuously enhancing your knowledge of systems and operations
What Were Looking For:
We want someone who thrives in a dynamic hands-on environment and possesses the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills: Youll be a team player who collaborates effectively with others.
- Excellent decision-making time management and organizational skills: Youll handle multiple priorities like a pro.
- Mechanical aptitude: Youll have a knack for understanding and working with equipment.
- Laboratory analysis skills: Youre eager to learn and perform critical lab procedures.
- Flexibility: Youre ready to adjust to variable schedules when needed.
- Ohio EPA Class 1 wastewater operator license: If you dont have one yet youll be able to acquire it within two years of employment.
- Ability to work independently with a get-it-done attitude
