Join us as our Full-Stack Engineer at Dedalus one of the Worlds leading healthcare technology companies in Gent or Berchem to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.

What youll achieve

Youll be working on RISonWEB a web-based radiology information system for hospitals and private practices. The product allows our customer to manage the complete workflow from the appointment the reception of the patient the execution of the examination the creation of the diagnostic report and the collection of all information to bill the examination.

The product is used in Belgium and Latin America by nearly 100 hospitals and private practices.

You would be based in our Gent or Berchem office with the possibility to work from home several days a week.

You will collaborate closely with the regional service teams and your colleagues in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

You will:

  • be part of the RISonWEB scrum team.
  • be responsible for designing and developing fixes and functional improvements to the product.
  • work on the full stack ranging from DB design backend services to the UI.
  • directly interact with the product owner and product manager to make sure the changes meet the customers expectations.
  • interact directly with service engineers to continuously improve the performance and serviceability of the product.
  • created automated tests and process feedback from static code analysis to ensure premium quality.

Essential Requirements

You have a bachelor or master in software development.

You are fluent in English (spoken as well as written).

You are highly analytical and have a passion for software development.

You have hands on experience with web development (html javascript CSS ).

You have hands on experience with the .NET technology stack.

You have experience with relational Databases.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with following technologies is a plus
    • SQL Server
    • C# .NET Framework and .NET Core
    • SOAP webservices
    • Windows Communication Foundation services
  • Experience with Healthcare standard (HL7/DICOM) is a plus
