About the Role:

This is a dual role combining therapy assistant and admin support responsibilities.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Work with clients in our clinic or community supporting them with physiotherapy programs
  • Clients have a range of neurological conditions including MS stroke and acquired brain injury
  • Tasks include functional mobility exercise assistance and aquatic therapy (yes you may be getting in the pool!)
  • Youll be well-supported by our experienced therapy team

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Based at our Buderim clinic youll be a warm welcoming presence for clients
  • Support reception with tasks such as bookings payments cancellations and data entry
  • Use our patient management system and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Receive training and support from our kind and caring Practice Manager

This is a full-time/ (Part-time negotiable) position located in our dedicated physiotherapy clinic in Buderim.

Hours and Start Date

  • Start date: Monday 21 July
  • Full-time preferred with flexible part-time option:
  • Wednesday 8am4pm
  • Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday 9am3pm
  • Interviews: Week of 30 June (face to face)

Your Essential Skills and Characteristics:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent health qualification/study/experience
  • Administration and/or reception experience (e.g. EFTPOS booking systems)
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid Australian Drivers License and reliable insured vehicle
  • Blue Card (Employment) and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
  • Annual Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous experience in a therapy assistant or allied health support role
  • Experience in health disability or dental settings
