Civil Superintendent - California High-Speed Rail Project
Location: Central Valley CA
Salary Range: $200000 - $275000 per year (based on experience)
About the Project:
The California High-Speed Rail Authoritys Construction Package 1 (CP1) is the first major construction phase of the High-Speed Rail project in Californias Central Valley. Spanning 32 miles from Madera to Fresno this transformative project will include critical elements such as 12 roadway/railroad grade separations mainline viaducts a tunnel river crossings and extensive infrastructure realignments.

Role Overview:
As a Civil Superintendent at Company reporting to the Project Manager you will have the opportunity to:
Lead and supervise the construction team to ensure that the project is built safely in alignment with design budget and timeline.
Take responsibility for planning coordinating and overseeing onsite activities including scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements proper utilization of materials and equipment and adherence to the site safety plan.
Provide technical support by interpreting drawings recommending construction methods and equipment and offering solutions to on-site challenges.
Collaborate with project management to develop and execute project schedules site logistics plans and project procedures.
Support and implement the Site-Specific Safety Plan.
Coordinate with on-site Owner representatives and teams.
Perform additional tasks as directed by your supervisor to keep the project moving forward.
What Were Looking For:
High School diploma or GED (or 15 years of relevant construction experience).
10 years of experience as a superintendent on large-scale heavy civil projects.
Proven track record as a superintendent on projects valued at over $200M.
Strong knowledge of U.S. construction methods techniques and industry standards.
Experience with City State and Federal Government clients is a plus.
Familiarity with contract management and local trade unions/crafts.
Proficiency in MS Word/Excel Procure Bluebeam HCSS HeavyBid or similar software.
OSHA certification and First Aid certifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
