Job Description
Harmony Gardens is hiring aTrained Medication Aides (TMAs)to join our team in our new building in Maplewood MN. We offer on-the-job training!
Our new campus opened in December 2022 and is only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park) and a variety of dining options. Our new state-of-the-artsenior living community includes independent living assisted living memory care skilled nursing and long-term care options.
Position Type: On-Call
Pay Range: $20.45 - $24.86 / hour depending on experience.
TMA/ CNA responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Harmony Gardens policies.
- Review and follow a written care plan.
- Measure and record vital signs including pulse temperature and blood pressure on new computerized software.
- Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.
- Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
- Complete some work as a CNA.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Must be on the MN nursing assistant registry and have a valid TMA from a community or technical college.
- Must have completed a minimum of 1000 hours as a CNA.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
