What Youll Do:
World Market is seeking a skilled and proactive Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement needs of our 245 stores and play a pivotal role in our continued growth as we open new locations across the country. In this position youll manage the sourcing purchasing and coordination of essential supplies trash services and equipment to keep our stores running seamlessly. Youll also lead project management efforts to ensure timely and effective execution of procurement initiatives for new store openings and operational upgrades including facilities management services such as HVAC maintenance fire suppression systems janitorial services and extermination. From ensuring our inventory is stocked with supplies to showcase our global finds to supporting the launch of new stores with fully equipped operations and compliant facilities your work will directly contribute to delivering the spirited shopping experience World Market is known for. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance cost-efficiency with quality anticipate the evolving needs of a growing retail network and maintain strong vendor partnerships. Youll collaborate closely with store managers corporate teams and suppliers to ensure our procurement and facilities processes support our stores and are best-in-class. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively and independently seek opportunities to secure competitive pricing high-quality products and reliable services
Concurrently manage multiple sourcing initiatives with the goal of driving long-term value and sustainable savings
Manage and execute vendor contracts including HVAC fire suppression security systems elevators janitorial recycling waste and plumbing and landscaping and exterminating
Research and identify new suppliers as needed that meet or exceed our expectations for quality service and pricing
Develop and implement procurement strategies to support company growth and operational efficiency
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to anticipate needs for existing stores and new store openings
Analyze supplier proposals and create detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses to fuel the negotiations process
Plan and designate project resources monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project
Prepare and present annual budget proposals including monthly forecast changes with variance explanations
Manage supplier relationships ensuring timely delivery and adherence to contracts and service agreements
Partner with World Markets legal department to develop review and execute new contracts
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize purchasing opportunities and decisions
Maintain accurate records of purchases contracts and vendor communications
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business supply chain management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5 years of experience in procurement purchasing facilities supply chain management or related field
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment
Strong negotiation skills and experience working with vendors and suppliers
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint etc.)
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Passion for contributing to a growing company and supporting new store openings
CA Pay Range is $90000-$100000 annually

Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Companys 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
