Custodian

Seeking Custodians for industrial facility in Saginaw MI for 6/9/25 starts. This is a janitorial position that will require MILES of walking a day.

  • 1st 2nd and 3rd
  • Should be open to working weekends as this s a 24/7/365 facility that never shuts down

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite haul trash to dumpsters
• Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project
• Able to distinguish between trash/s and stored materials
• Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go
• Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas: Yard area guard shack smoke area etc.

While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Removing and Bailing Cardboard
• Moving and stacking Pallets
• Floor cleaning
• Fork truck operation
• Need to be open to ALL tasks

Qualifications:;

• Previous experience in a janitor custodian cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
• Frequent lifting carrying pushing or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must have reliable transportation
