As a mid level Backend Engineer youll play a crucial role in shaping the technical foundation of our platform. From clean architecture and test-driven development to meaningful product collaboration your work will directly impact how JOIN delivers a fast stable and reliable experience to our users.

Youll collaborate closely with Product Frontend Platform and other Backend engineers all of whom value clean scalable code and open communication. Youll be part of a team that believes in mentorship self-sufficiency and shared ownership
What were looking for
We dont believe in checklists but if most of these apply to you wed love to chat:
3 years of experience in backend development (strongly typed languages or TypeScript).
Experience with any RDBMS (via raw queries or ORMs).
Solid experience writing unit and integration tests.
Familiarity with message brokers like SNS RabbitMQ Kafka or Google PubSub.
Proactive and reliable with a sense of ownership and accountability.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
Growth mindset eager to learn and quick to pick up new technologies.
