We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Junior Solution Engineer to support our
solutions team in the design and optimization of solar power plant proposals. The ideal
candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the solar PV industry with a strong
foundation in solar plant layout design and AutoCAD proficiency.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow within the industry while working closely
with senior engineers sales teams and key clients to deliver competitive and technically sound
solar solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed solar plant layouts and single-line diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Support solution design activities by working on system sizing layout planning and
basic performance simulations.
• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals BoMs and client-facing documents.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop optimized solutions that meet client
requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions with internal teams and external partners to ensure
clarity and accuracy of solutions.
• Stay updated with latest industry tools design standards and product technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV system design preferably for rooftop or
utility-scale projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics.
• Strong command of AutoCAD – essential for layout and electrical schematic
preparation.
• Basic understanding of solar components such as inverters modules combiner boxes
and mounting structures.
• Familiarity with design tools like PVsyst or PVsol (added advantage).
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines.
Preferred Attributes
• Experience supporting tenders or RFQ responses in the solar sector.
• Exposure to LCOE analysis or cost optimization techniques (optional).
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced target-driven environment.
