Description
This critical role is responsible for managing and optimizing the production schedule within our ERP system (KIMCO) ensuring that all work orders are scheduled accurately and move efficiently through each stage of production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production workflows and ERP logic with the ability to not only use the system but also help shape and improve it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule all work orders in the KIMCO ERP system across multiple work centers.
- Manage the full lifecycle of work orders from release to completion.
- Coordinate and update production schedules in real-time to reflect workflow changes and priorities.
- Customize the KIMCO ERP platform to fit business needs including building custom dashboards reports and features.
- Serve as the in-house ERP resource providing assistance and troubleshooting to team members using KIMCO.
- Issue materials reconcile labor time and monitor work center loading and capacity.
- Assist with shipping fulfillment and job closeout processes.
- Analyze and improve scheduling workflows and production planning strategies.
- Collaborate across departments including Production Purchasing Graphics and Sales to ensure accurate scheduling and data flow.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in production scheduling or manufacturing planning.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with KIMCO is a strong plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and configure ERP logic and workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data analysis report building and systems troubleshooting is a plus.
