Job Description
This position is based out of our headquarters in Colorado Springs. Relocation is not provided for this role.

Were looking for a highly motivated Data & Analytics Intern to join our growing team and contribute across the data lifecyclefrom data wrangling and pipeline development to dashboarding and exploratory analysis. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Business Intelligence Data Engineering and Data Science helping drive data-informed decisions scalable solutions and AI-ready data assets across the organization.

Essential Functions
- Business Intelligence
- Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau.
- Perform ad hoc data analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Data Engineering
- Support the development and testing of data pipelines using SQL and/or Python.
- Help document data flows and improve data quality through validation and transformation tasks.
- Work with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure AWS or GCP) and tools like Databricks and/or Airflow.
- Data Science & AI Readiness
- Help curate tag and label datasets for use in machine learning and AI applications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data assets meet quality standards for training and inference.
- Help communicate findings through clear visualizations and written summaries.
Qualifications :
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Statistics Analytics or a related field.
- Experience with SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI or matplotlib/seaborn).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) and/or big data tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience with SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI or matplotlib/seaborn).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) and/or big data tools is a plus.

Additional Information :
Schedule:
- Intern may work full-time during the summer months May - August. Daily schedule is flexible based on the candidates availability. Minimum of twenty hours per week and up to thirty.
The internship will not exceed 90 days.
The pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.
