The Role Head of Finance
We are seeking a commercially-minded hands-on Head of Finance to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO you will guide Elio Networks through its next growth stage bringing strong controllership commercial insight and strategic direction to a fast-scaling environment.
This role covers four core areas:
- Controllership ensuring robust financial reporting compliance and audit readiness
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) driving budgeting forecasting and performance insight
- Treasury overseeing cash flow working capital and third-party financial relationships
- Strategy supporting the CEO and Board with commercial decisions investment planning and M&A
This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of a lean fast-paced organisation where a collaborative hands-on approach is essential. You will work closely with both operational and commercial teams manage key third-party relationships and play a pivotal role in supporting and executing our buy-and-build strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function with ownership of budgeting forecasting reporting and cash flow
- Maintain and evolve the companys financial model to support M&A and portfolio planning
- Prepare and deliver Board and parent company financial reporting packs
- Provide strategic and commercial insight to support executive and Board-level decisions
- Oversee the audit process and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
- Manage third-party providers including auditors tax advisors banks and due diligence teams
- Monitor financial performance and present actionable insights
- Support in guding investment decisions and have input to developing strategies for sustainable growth
- Champion automation and efficiency within the finance function and across the organisation
- Manage payroll and resolve related queries as needed
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent) with 6 years PQE
- Proven track record leading finance in high-growth fast-paced or change-heavy environments
- Experience with M&A activity or integration preferrable
- Strong technical expertise in financial and management reporting audit and internal controls
- Experience with financial modelling and/or working with portfolio management teams
- Familiarity with Xero or similar cloud-based platforms
- Commercially astute with the ability to identify and act on strategic opportunities
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and Board-level credibility
- A proactive collaborative and pragmatic leader who thrives in lean hands-on environments
