Job Description
Infosys is seeking Senior SRE Developer.This positions primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable relevant and critical to the project.
RequiredQualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford CT Raleigh NC or Richardson TX or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience inSRE Dev SRE practices telemetry and observability tools Terraform Ansible.
- Should have SQL knowledge and have the experience writing database scripts using DDL or queries using DML.
- Good Cloud experience using Cloud SDKs. Ability to architect microservices in GCP cloud (Cloud Run GKE Cloud SQL Big Query etc.

Preferred qualifications:
- Good experience in architecting and implementing fault tolerant highly available microservices.
- Drive technical as well as functional solution discussions with customer and provide thought leadership in the area.
- Understanding of implementing GraphQL endpoints using java spring boot.
- Understanding of various caching layers like endpoint (reverse proxy) cache aside read/ write through. Knowledge on caching libraries like Ehcache Redis Varnish.
- Strong sense of code with ability to review rework and deliver top class code to customer.
- Good understanding of SRE skillset and ability to architect the services considering observability traceability and monitoring aspects.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
