Eatons ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler I - 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The rate for this position is $19.82 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
What youll do:
Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
May use bolts screws clips and other fastening devices.
Maintain 5-S (sort set in order shine standardize sustain) throughout shop floor and office area track and sustain all visual management tools such as but not limited to: layered audits Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction goals and status to the shop floor. Encourage support and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility department and area of responsibility.
Work under close supervision and may work from models samples or simple diagrams.
Pick pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
Keeps work areas clean and safe.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Position Criteria:
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
Physical Demands:
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
Able to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without accommodation. Occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance.
Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas).
Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity.
Work environment exposes to oils lubricants and solvents.
