Job Description

Position Summary
UNC Horizons is seeking a part-time licensed child and family therapist to work afternoons (M-Th; typically 2-6PM) as needed in the Chapel Hill area. Child therapist will work with current Child Therapist/Supervisor to assess and treat at-risk children ages 3-11. We use a dyadic treatment model so familiarity with dyadic interventions is preferred such as Child Parent Psychotherapy Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up TFCBT etc. Hours will vary based on case load but approximately 5-20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Therapist must be fully licensed ( LCMHC LCSW etc.) with experience working with at-risk children ages birth 3-11. Preferences for training in evidence-based modalities such as TF- CBT Circle of Security Parenting Child Parent Psychotherapy and Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up.

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Knowledge of or interest in gender-specific substance abuse treatment is preferred; Experience working with justice-involve individuals maternal/child health child mental health and substance use treatment.

Work Schedule
Approximately 20 hours per week; primarily afternoons on Monday Tuesday and Thursday.
