Java Application Developer
This is a contract position.
This is a hybrid opportunity located in New York NY.

Job Responsibilities
Develop revenue-generating and time-critical applications for investment banking
Design and build REST APIs using Spring Boot and Open API (Swagger)
Leverage design thinking to improve developer workflows and systems
Collaborate across global teams to deliver scalable solutions
Partner with product QA and development teams to ensure high-quality software
Job Skills/Requirements
6 years of experience with Java including Java 8 features (Lambdas Streams CompletableFuture)
Strong background in Spring Boot REST services and Open API specification
Skilled in building real-time scalable applications with multithreading and performance in mind
Experience with relational databases such as DB2 or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Agile TDD/BDD (JUnit Cucumber) and DevOps concepts

Pay Range
Pay Range: $48 - $53/hr
