This role is part of the Integrated Workforce Strategies Chapter within the People & Culture organization. Our purpose is to enable the business to achieve its ambitious goals while anticipating and adapting to a rapidly changing environment. We elevate the way leaders shape our future workforce by providing data-driven skills-based workforce planning solutions to the business such as Strategic Workforce Planning. Through close partnership with the business we work on co-creating workforce strategies to close skills gaps. Additionally as part of our transformation towards a skills-based organization we drive embedding skills into our people practices guiding our people & leaders to become future ready.
Shaping new approaches in this field working with new technologies and cross-functional partners offers you great learning opportunities.
The Opportunity:
As an intern in the Workforce Optimization team for a 6-month period your main focus will be learning about Workforce Strategies Skills and People Fluidity at Roche and shaping and implementing frameworks at a global level. You will support the design of our products and playbooks and the implementation of enablement strategies for various roles in People & Culture the business and partner functions.
Your contribution will be to:
Support the design of various products and projects in the field of workforce strategies and planning
Contribute to learning solutions that inspire and educate our partners
Collaborate with the experts in the field in an agile working environment characterized by empowerment open communication and willingness to test new ideas
Who you are:
You are in your Bachelor or Master studies in the field of business administration Human Resources Organizational Psychology or similar
Ideally you have had a first experience (previous internship) in HR Learning and/or communication field
You can address complex problems and develop effective solutions
You think creatively and you enjoy the creation of effective presentations learning material and experiences
You are motivated to work independently in a collaborative and dynamic environment and can adapt to different needs
You have a can-do attitude and growth mindset
You are characterized by a high level of social competence and are able to efficiently communicate in English

Please remember that this internship is aimed at students (m/f/d) who are currently enrolled for the entire period of the internship or alternatively at people in a GAP-year of a maximum of one year (between Bachelors and Masters studies) where it can be proven in writing at which university/college and exactly when (month/year) within a year the studies will be continued.
Period: from August or September 2025 for a period of 6 months.
Work location: Mannheim (first location) or Penzberg
