Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program required
6 months in an acute care Hospital setting or completion of THR Residency program
LVN Licensed Vocational NurseUpon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Supportprior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLSAdvanced Cardiac Life Supportwithin 90 days required
CPICrisis Prevention Interventionwithin 90 days required
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information.
Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.
Collects data and reports significant findings to RN.
Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines.
Demonstrates critical thinking.
Adheres to national safety goals in care delivery.
Monitors patients

WORK LOCATION: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd Plano TX 75093
WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36 hrs./ week. Weekend and holiday requirements
ICU Department Highlights:
Self-scheduling unit with 30 beds.
Our ICU Unit is devoted to intensive care for the regions most critically ill patients.
Our intensivist program puts the care of ICU patients under the guidance of board-certified critical care physicians who directly oversee patient care in the ICU throughout the day. Physicians are available 24 hours.
Critical care nurses nurse practitioners and physician assistants all trained in critical care medicine help provide care in the ICU around the clock.
Awarded the Beacon Gold-level of excellence in 2015 & 2018 & 2022.
