As a Quality Assurance Risk Management Coordinator you will supervise the Medical Records Department (MRD) and apply working knowledge of psychiatric hospital management to oversee various treatment programs offered at Torrance State Hospital. You will monitor chart reviews analyze risk management database entries and assess the efficiency of the MRD. You will also maintain the statewide mortality database identify clinical and administrative deficiencies and implement safety patient care and treatment improvements. This role requires strong organizational skills and effective communication tocollaborate with managers concerning compliance withhospital quality assurance and performance standards as well as the ability to take positive action that ensurespotential adverse impact issues are addressed. In addition you will supervise the Medical Records Department Director and the Quality Assurance Risk Management Specialist whilecoordinating the Root Cause Analysis Failure Mode and Effect Analysis teams.
