Job Description
Kentucky Powersports is looking for an experienced ATV/UTV/Small Engine mechanic. This position would require unsupervised self-motivated and a strong work ethic within a fast-paced environment. Work will include regular powersport/small engine maintenance repairs Honda/Scag/Spartan certified warranty work accessory installation and build outs.
Responsibilities:
- Complete repairs and maintenance tasks within guidelines and safety guidelines
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with equipment or systems
- Assist in providing recommendations to customers on appropriate services and products
- Assist in the sales process by recommending appropriate products or services to customers
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure workflow and timely completions of service projects
- Conduct diagnostic tests inspection and test drives to identify any additional repairs needed
- Disassemble and assemble ATVs Side by Sides 4 Wheelers Dirt Bikes and Mowers
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory controls
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers effectively
Technician Qualifications:
- Experience preferred
- Self-starter and team player
- Detail-oriented and willing to follow directions
- Must be punctual
- Must be willing to follow processes
- Organize and maintain supplies
- Other duties as assigned
