Job Description
Job title: Financial Controller
Location: Toru Poland
Work model:Hybrid

Your key responsibilities
- Lead and execute all financial reporting accounting and closing activities for your legal entity ensuring accurate and timely delivery of actuals for both internal and external (statutory) reporting purposes
- Ensure compliance with dsm-firmenich accounting rules IFRS and local GAAP to maintain the integrity of financial statements and management reports
- Prepare annual financial statements and ensure timely submission of all statutory and fiscal obligations including VAT withholding tax CIT
- Manage the annual external audit
- Monitor and analyze balance sheet accounts for accuracy completeness and compliance; proactively resolve open items and discrepancies
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Drive the financial closing process including pre-close meetings implementing corrective actions and ensuring compliance with group deadlines and quality standards

You bring
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Economics or a related field
- Strong analytical skills for financial monitoring and reporting ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
- Accounting proficiency with strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS experience in tax filings and financial reporting strong understanding of accounts receivable reconciliations and overdue payment management
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and internal controls ability to ensure audit readiness and maintain financial integrity
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel Power BI or similar software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluency in Polish & English is a must
