Job Summary:
The Quality Manager will assess suppliers/contractors implement quality control procedures and collaborate with suppliers to improve quality performance. The role involves resolving quality-related problems performing audits coordinating procurement and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with quality requirements and maintaining accurate documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
1 Supplier Quality Management
Assess the quality capabilities of suppliers/contractors to ensure that they meet the required standards.
Define and implement quality control procedures and standards for suppliers and contractors.
Regularly review and assess supplier and contractors performance to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Perform audits to verify that suppliers are meeting quality standards and address any non-compliance issues.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve their quality performance through guidance and process improvement initiatives.
2 Quality Problem Resolution
Investigate and resolve quality-related problems conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure RCA of poor quality and drives CAPA to prevent quality issues.
3 Procurement Coordination
Work closely with project managers procurement teams and other stakeholders to coordinate timely and high-quality procurement of supplies.
4 Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for enhancing the supply chain quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
5 Documentation and Record-Keeping
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality control processes supplier evaluations and performance records.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience - 8 to 10 years of experience 4 to 5 years of Wind sector experience is a must)
Strong knowledge of quality management principles and practices manufacturing quality control & testing Suppliers quality auditing skills resolving quality-related problems and driving improvement.
Understanding of Supplier auditing and assessment and Quality Management System.
Knowledge of the technical spec & testing procedures.
